My name is Mariska Pijper and I am a certified local guide and tour leader. I speak English fluently and in addition to my bachelor Tourism I also took various courses on (arts) history, architecture and Dutch water management.

Thanks to my experience as a tour leader I am used to accompanying large groups of different nationalities. As a local guide, groups are usually smaller and I love the interaction we can have. That is also what inspires me so much in my work, meeting so many different people from all over the world and being able to show them the beautiful region of Amsterdam where I was raised.
